Even though the Visio.M has just a 15-kW (20-hp) electric motor, the car still has a top speed of 120 km/h (75 mph) and a range of about 160 km (99 miles) with two passengers and luggage.
The project, titled Visio.M , was founded by the Technical University of Munich (TUM), and demonstrated its early efforts with the Mute concept car at last years Frankfurt Motor Show.
The goal of Visio.M was to develop an electric vehicle with the focus on efficiency, safety, and affordability to overcome existing technical shortcomings and make electric mobility accessible to the general public; as well as to create state-of-the-art technologies to improve the state of automotive ICT.
